I recently carted my old Penobscot down to Powhatan Creek for another afternoon float.

Headed upstream . . .

passing beneath numerous bald cypress . . .

and beside their myriad "knees".

For months now, the Colonial Williamsburg Foundation has been in the process of moving its historic windmill to this new site where it will be much more visible to the public.

Now it has finally happened and I am looking forward to soon seeing it in full operation again.
