The tulips here are beginning to fade, slowly giving way to other flowering plants like irises, wisteria, azaleas, and camelias. Always, to my mind at least, a magical time of year.

This is a quiet little garden bordered on all sides by buildings, so it's pretty easy to miss as you amble along Colonial Williamsburg's side streets and certainly from the town's main drag, Duke of Gloucester Street.
